Monarch Butterfly Grove
One of the Unique Things to Do in Pismo Beach
January and February is a great time to make your reservations at our Pismo Beach Inn. We invite you to experience what locals and naturalists in the area already know-the Monarch butterfly migration is an amazing thing to see. Pismo Beach, California, has its own Monarch butterfly grove, full of Eucalyptus trees, located right on State Highway 1.
The Monarch Butterfly
Grove is minutes from the Spyglass in Pismo Beach.
A healthy walk or leisurely bike ride is the perfect way to soak
in the weather on your way to the butterfly grove located on Grand
Avenue. Going north or south on Highway 101, get off at the 4th Street Exit.
Turn toward the ocean and follow 4th Street to Grand Avenue. Turn right
on Grand Avenue and the grove will be on your left about ½ mile down.
